Chungcheongbuk-do opened the Chungbuk Joint Exhibition Hall at CES 2025 at 10:30 AM local time on January 7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall (LVCC South Hall).

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from Chungbuk-do, along with co-hosts Korea National University of Transportation, Chungbuk National University, Chungbuk Regional Innovation Platform (RIS), and nine local startups.

The Chungbuk Joint Exhibition Hall was designed as a space showcasing various cutting-edge technologies under the theme of digital technological innovation and a sustainable future.

Local companies introduced innovative technologies that aim to guide humanity toward a better future, including electric vehicles, autonomous driving technologies, brain nerve treatment and pain relief technologies, carbon reduction and air purification systems for living spaces, and personalized health management solutions.

Exhibited technologies also included medical 3D printers, biodegradable medical materials, remote vehicle operation systems, and autonomous vehicle safety research, capturing the attention of attendees.

Startups from the region presented a variety of technology demonstrations and presentations throughout the event.

Visitors highly praised the practical application and technological potential of the products on display, expressing deep impressions of Chungbuk’s growth potential.

The participating local companies were:

• Po Nature
• EngineTin
• Bestos
• Space Healthcare
• View Farm
• Marco Polo Camp

These nine startups are within five years of establishment and are based in Chungbuk.

A local official remarked, “The Chungbuk Joint Exhibition Hall is a representative project promoted through cooperation between industry, academia, and research, and we will strengthen this collaboration further. We will continue to provide multifaceted support to ensure our companies’ technologies and capabilities are recognized on the global stage.”

CES 2025, held from January 7 to 10, is themed “Dive In,” and is taking place across the Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Exhibition Hall, and various content spaces. It is the largest event in the industry, where companies from around the world showcase the latest technologies. This year’s event focuses on exploring how new technologies in AI, digital health, advanced mobility, and sustainability can connect humanity and contribute to solving global issues.
